The Run for the Six will remain virtual.
Together we will remember the six million Jewish victims of the Holocaust.
Unfortunately, in an effort to prioritize the safety and health of all of our community members, we have decided to cancel the post run in-person awards ceremony and celebration that had been scheduled for October 17th. Although we had been looking forward to gathering together as a community at our Museum to remember the victims and honor the survivors, given rising outbreaks and concerns in our community, we have decided that an in-person event would not be in the best interests of our community’s safety at this time.

Dear Friends and Family,
There is no doubt in anyone’s mind: this past year has been heartbreaking. But it has also brought out a renewed sense of community and giving – and it has made us appreciate the importance of gathering, whether virtually or in person. Now, as restrictions begin to ease on physical distancing, especially outdoors, we are looking forward to many brighter days ahead.
Today we are proud to announce our fourth annual Run for the Six 5k Run/Walk/Remember, dedicated to the memory of the six million victims of the Holocaust. This year the event will be a virtual run with the award ceremony and celebration at the Museum to accommodate the safety and participation of all who wish to join us!
On the morning of Sunday, October 17th at 11am we will gather together to remember the victims, honor the local survivors, and continue our work to abolish antisemitism anywhere it is found. To continue this work and to ensure the success of this year’s run, we need your help. We humbly ask you to consider sponsoring this event for our community.
Our sponsors are our lifeblood and truly the heart of community giving at the Run for the Six. Without you, this family-friendly event dedicated to Holocaust memory and education simply wouldn’t exist.
We are grateful for your support of the Museum's mission to educate all who wish to learn about the dark past of human history, while working towards a peaceful future for all people.
